We are delighted to announce that the IEEE Computer Society will present the 60th Anniversary Award to David Parnas and Maurice Wilkes for "Seminal Contributions to the discipline of Computing". IEEE Computer Society president Michael Williams will host a small cermony on the grounds of Cambridge University in Cambridge, England on 4th October 2007. Tony O'Callaghan joined SQRL in February 2007 on a temporary contract from the IDC. Tony is currently undertaking a Masters in Computer Science.
Wenhui Zhu (Rachel) joined SQRL from Pecking University in Beijing, Wenhui is a PhD student in Electronic Engineering & Computer Science.

Dr. Dennis Peters joined SQRL in September 2006 for a sabbatical period (8 months) as a senior researcher. Dr. Peters is on sabbatical from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada.
August 2006
Dr. Mark Lawford joined SQRL in August 2006 for a sabbatical period (11 months) as senior researcher. Dr Lawford is on sabbatical from McMaster University, Canada.
Mr. Baltasar Trancon y Widemann joined SQRL from Germany. He submitted for award of PhD at the Technische Universitat Berlin in July 2006.
